HMS Ganges Museum VOLUNTEERS

Join our friendly team of volunteers and help maintain local heritage.

Share your skills, knowledge and experience, learn about our history and meet new people.

Just a few reasons to become a volunteer at HMS Ganges Museum.

The Museum records, displays and cares for artefacts, photographs, memorabilia and donated items from former trainees at HMS Ganges Royal Navy Training Establishment from 1905-1976.
Apart from the running of the Museum we also assist former Ganges Boys, their families and researchers search our archives.

If you have some spare time, an interest in local history and in meeting people, this could be a great fit for you.

We also have vacancies in non public facing roles such as Treasurer, Archiving, Marketing and Admin.

Candidates must be 18 years or older and of good character.

Why not call in for a chat during opening hours or contact June, our Museum Secretary, via email or phone.
